# About OPEN Manager

OPEN Manager is the studio-facing half of the OPEN platform: the software an
independent yoga, Pilates, gym, dance or martial-arts business uses to run itself. The
other half is [openclient.app](https://openclient.app), where that business's clients
find it and book.

## Why it exists

A studio teaching a handful of classes a day was being asked to choose between a
spreadsheet and enterprise software priced for a gym chain. The spreadsheet cannot take
a payment or hold a waitlist; the enterprise tool costs more than the studio's rent and
routes every question through a sales team.

OPEN is the middle. One system for the timetable, the client list, passes and
memberships, card payments, invoicing, marketing and reporting — at a price a studio
with one room can pay, with pricing published on the website rather than quoted.

## What we will and will not claim

OPEN publishes its full price list, starts free, and has no fixed-term contract and no
per-booking commission on a studio's own clients. It includes Urban Sports Club sync,
EU-native invoicing (Spain VeriFACTU-ready), a branded client app, a sellable video
library and event pages with booking.

It does **not** do door-access hardware, workout programming, biometric integrations or
equipment maintenance, and it does not run a consumer marketplace that resells a
studio's clients back to them. Where a competitor is genuinely better at something, the
comparison pages say so.

There is no AI that writes a studio's schedule. The only scheduling automation is
"build the week once, repeat it forward" — deliberately, because scheduling is
repetitive *and* high-consequence, and an autonomous draft is the wrong trade.

## Where OPEN is used

Studios worldwide, concentrated today in Spain, Norway, Germany, Italy,
France and Poland. The client app ships in nine languages (English, Spanish, German,
French, Italian, Catalan, Norwegian, Polish, Russian); the studio dashboard ships in
English, Spanish, German and Russian.
