Booking is deliberately not part of either REST API: it is a personal, authenticated action, so it goes through the MCP connector a student authorises once with their own OPEN account. There is no way to book with an API key. There are TWO MCP connectors and they are easy to confuse. The **studio** connector (open-mcp-server.openclient.workers.dev/mcp) acts for a studio owner: read-only access to that studio's own schedule, students and memberships, authorised with the owner's normal OPEN login, available to every studio on any plan, and set up from Connect Claude in the dashboard. The **student** connector (open-client-mcp.openclient.workers.dev/mcp) acts for one class-taker and is the only surface that can actually book.
