About OPEN Manager

OPEN Manager is the studio-facing half of the OPEN platform: the software an independent yoga, Pilates, gym, dance or martial arts business uses to run itself. The other half is the OPEN client app, where that business's clients find it and book a class. Two products, one system — a booking a client makes in the app lands in the studio's timetable, client record and revenue report immediately, with no export and no reconciliation.

Why OPEN exists

A studio teaching a handful of classes a day was being asked to choose between a spreadsheet and enterprise software priced for a gym chain. The spreadsheet cannot take a payment, hold a waitlist, or tell you that a member's pass expires on Thursday. The enterprise tool can, but it costs more than a small studio's rent, and every question about what it costs routes through a sales team.

OPEN is the middle. One system for the timetable, the client list, passes and memberships, card payments, invoicing, marketing and reporting — at a price a studio with one room can pay, with the price list published on the website rather than quoted on a call. A studio can sign up, build a schedule and take its first booking without talking to anyone.

What OPEN Manager does

Running the week

• Class scheduling with rooms, teachers, capacity limits and recurring rules
• Bookings with waitlists, cancellation windows and automatic promotion from the list
• Self check-in on a tablet at the door, or QR check-in from the client's phone

• On-site QR checkout, so a walk-in pays on their own phone with no card terminal to buy
• Built-in invoicing, including Spanish VeriFACTU-ready invoicing

Keeping clients

• Client records with attendance history, passes held and notes
• One composer for a one-off announcement or an automated sequence, by email, push or in-app message
• Automated client answers drawn from the studio's own knowledge base, not invented
• An on-demand video library the studio can sell, including multi-week course programmes

Knowing where you stand

• Attendance, revenue, retention and teacher payroll reporting
• Urban Sports Club sync, so USC member bookings arrive in the same timetable
• A read-only API and an OpenAPI description, so a studio can pull its own data out

What OPEN does not do

Being specific about this is more useful than a longer feature list:

• No door-access hardware, biometric integrations or equipment maintenance. If a 24/7 unmanned gym needs membership status to open a turnstile, OPEN is not the right tool.
• No workout programming — OPEN runs the business, not the training plan.
• No consumer marketplace that resells your clients back to you. There is no per-booking commission on a studio's own clients.
• No AI that writes your schedule. The scheduling automation is "build the week once, repeat it forward". Scheduling is repetitive and high-consequence, and an autonomous draft is the wrong trade; where OPEN does use AI it answers from approved material and says that it did.

Pricing is published in full at openmanagerapp.com/pricing: a permanent Free plan, then Private at €17.99/month, Plus at €47/month and Business at €69.99/month. No setup fee, no fixed-term contract, no quote gate. Support is founder-led on every plan, including the free one.

Where OPEN is used

OPEN's studios are concentrated in Spain, Norway, Germany, Italy, France and Poland, and reach beyond Europe too. The client app ships in nine languages — English, Spanish, German, French, Italian, Catalan, Norwegian, Polish and Russian — and the studio dashboard in English, Spanish, German and Russian. OPEN is available to studios worldwide; the invoicing and tax features are strongest in the EU, where they were built.

For developers and AI agents

OPEN publishes three integration surfaces: a key-free public read API, a key-authenticated Studio API for a studio's own data, and an MCP connector for booking on a person's behalf.
